Note 01 — Aims

"Look at the effects" is not a hypothesis. Name the dose, the outcome measure and the direction you expect, then the whole method section writes itself.

Note 02 — Critical depth

Whose studies, in whom, and where do they disagree? Second-class work summarises the literature. First-class work weighs it.

Note 03 — Reporting

A p-value on its own tells the reader nothing about size. Report the mean difference, the confidence interval and an effect size, then say whether it matters on the pitch.

About

Who you would be working with

[Open with your background: what you studied, where, and what your own research was on. Students trust someone who has been through the same process recently.]

[Then your applied experience: coaching, physiology testing, performance analysis, lab demonstrating, marking or teaching. Say how many students you have supported and at what level.]

[Close with how sessions run. Video call, screen sharing, work reviewed in advance, notes sent afterwards, and what you will and will not do.]
